New Evidence: Assessing the impact of demand-building interventions on Trust
After months of anticipations – trust data is in! Our analysis of the trust impact of 4 interventions in Pakistan and Kenya shows promising results. Vaccinator training and paracetamol provision measurably improved trust or its resilience amongst target populations, while a male-caregiver-focused intervention in Kenya qualitatively showed positive impact on trust in the vaccine delivery of its beneficiaries.
Collaboration: measuring trust around referral & paracetamol provision interventions
In Sindh, Pakistan, Impetus is currently leading two innovative trust-centered interventions that are being implemented in high-priority areas of Karachi to improve immunization coverage through the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI). The first targets zero-dose children through partnerships with private health providers and traditional birth attendants, while the second addresses post-vaccination concerns by providing paracetamol and educational materials to reduce dropout rates for multi-dose vaccines.
We’re currently working with Impetus to measure how both interventions affect caregiver trust—both in vaccines and in the health system more broadly.
