Using the Trust Survey to Prepare for HPV Rollout

With Gavi funding, Jhpiego are supporting government and civil society partners in Pakistan in developing a roadmap for the prevention of cervical cancer and introduction of the HPV vaccine.

ReD has supported this effort in various ways. Trust Survey questions were included in Jhpiego’s initial KAP survey efforts across Pakistan. In addition, ReD has supported Jhpiego by deep-diving into survey data collected in 2023, which focused on the HPV vaccine and cervical cancer. This resulted in an HPV-trust-data packet which shed light on trust opportunities and challenges to look out for – including where more research is needed to understand key dynamics which will affect HPV uptake. ReD's survey data from Pakistan allows for the investigation of trust in vaccines as it relates to nascent perceptions and awareness of the HPV and cervical cancer.
